How do you fit steel toe boots?
Do you need to wear thick socks to make the fit better (currently wearing regular Hanes socks)?
Do you need to buy one size larger than your normal size with a steel toe boot (I wear a woman's 7.5, do I need to buy an 8)?
Is it common for toes to touch the steel toe and gradually become numb?
I bought some steel toe shoes (tennis shoe style steel toe shoes) yesterday. Everywhere the shoe fits snug, not tight, except for where my little toe and the one next to it touch the steel toe. Where these two toes touch the steel toe they eventually get a little numb. Is this normal? I don't normally wear a wide shoe, does this mean I need to get a wider shoe b/c of the steel toe and my toes touching too much?
Shoes are Red Wings Worx brand.

Take them back and get measured for a proper fit. If you continue to ware the ones you have you could do serious damage to your feet.
