Platform Tall
What sort of techniques will let me walk in Platform heels and a tight dress?
I have one of these sorts of dresses to wear (on stage, also):

Except it is much tighter above the fantail.
And I have to wear platforms shoes under it to make me seem taller.
How can I possibly walk while wearing these?
One foot in front of the other. the space between your feet width-wise should be very narrow. When you step, you should cross over the other leg. Don't try to walk the way you run, try to walk like you normally do. Keep your back perfectly straight, eyes level, shoulders back, and confident! If you do it enough times, this will become second nature, and walking in platforms will be just like walking in flats.
