Why is it so hard to find cool looking dance shoes?
I have researched the internet, read many a posts, looked at all the online dance shoe vendors but it seems no one makes a cool dance shoe/sneaker for outside wear that is versatile for swing and hip hop.
I'm looking for a shoe that has the bottom sole of a dance sneaker (like a Capezio) for some slip and glide but yet looks COOL and comfortable like a regular shoe you would buy at a mall. The dance sneakers are comfortable and very functional but that split sole...c'mon...that looks like orthopedic shoes for old people.
Does anybody know of a brand that I may have missed that fits what I'm looking for?

You do not want a pair of swing dance shoes that you can wear outside. The best swing dance shoes have a raw leather sole that makes them good for dancing. But they would be ripped apart outside.
Look around a swing dance and notice the number of people carrying their dance shoes in and changing them at the dance.
I don't know if they look cool, but I prefer Aris Allen shoes.
