need information on nissan gloria vg20 turbo 24 valve?

my nissan vg20 turbo 24 valve has a flat sport ,emits black smoke consumes a lot of fuel what could be the prob lem

i'd say it sounds like a clogged or sticky fuel injector, or in need of a fuel filter. replace the filter, itll be about a fiver probably, and chuck a bottle of redex in the tank when you next fill up. if that doesn't help, i'd take it to somewhere that does diagnostics and ask them to see if the injectors are working properly, but give the cheaper alternatives a chance to work first.
