Saxon Equi-leather zip back field boots.?
OK, well my old boots are falling apart and i my mares first show is September 25th and i need new boots QUICK! I dont have the money right now to get nice, expensive boots, so are the Saxon Equi-leather zip back field boots ok? I mean, im not going to be riding in them every day, but about 2x a week. I'm going to my local doversaddlery on Thursday to get new show clothes and i need to find cheap field boots for the show. And i looked on the website and there were GREAT reviews, but also very bad reviews, so do you have experiences with these? DO they look like leather? Are they comfortable?

In my experience, every Saxon boot I have ever bought has fallen apart within 3 months of CASUAL riding. The leather along the seams wears away and eventually the soles fall off. It's just a terrible brand in my opinion. When it comes to inexpensive boots, I would go with Ariat. They've never let me down :]
Edit: If I'm remembering correctly, I tried on a pair of those second boots at the tack shop. The seam near the toe cut into my foot and I didn't like the lining all too much - but they probably fit everyone differently xD
