Are american schools anything like the way they are portrayed in the movies or shows?

Im not talking abt the education. the ppl, groups, nerds, goth, popular, bikers, "normal". whats it like for the new kid thats a foreigner? also if ur a girl, loner who likes wearing combats, black, ripped jeans, red hair, into rock music and motorbikes. do ppl leave u alone?

i know EXACTLY what dis chick means! u missed out the nice ruffed up hunky dark tall gorjus guy WITH the motorbike!! that mechanic who u DONT fancy and who DUZNT fancy you... ..... that guy who is soooooooo obviously NOT following u SUBTLY and that guy whose BUTT u can sooooooooooooo easily kick!!!
